street-fighter-5-rashid-2

Countless fans of the Street Fighter franchise have anxiously been waiting for the new title to arrive and it will in just a couple of days. There’s good news today for those who have been waiting for this title to arrive. If you’re based in North America you can pre-load Street Fighter 5 now via PSN and Steam.

Obviously, you can only pre-load the title if you’ve pre-ordered it. If you haven’t then you’re out of luck. Don’t think you’ll get to play the game before everybody else, though.

It’s possible to pre-load many major games now, this allows people who have digitally purchased the game to download it ahead of time and get to play it the moment it’s released. So even if you pre-load the game two days before its release the game will remain locked until then. There’s no way past that.

The initial download size for Street Fighter 5 pre-load on PlayStation 4 is about 7.32GB, it’s 7.15GB on Steam, afterwards, the complete download will take up 12.34GB of storage on the PlayStation 4 and 13.45GB on PC.

So if you’re based in North America you can get to downloading right now and start counting down the days to February 16th because that’s when Street Fighter 5 will be unlocked for you to play for as long as you could possibly want.
