Over the years, we have seen LEGO tie-in with many popular franchises, like comic books and movies. It even spawned a LEGO movie, which to be honest was rather delightful to watch. That being said, with there being Star Wars: The Force Awakens LEGO sets, we suppose the idea of a LEGO video game shouldn’t really come as a surprise either, right?

Turns out that it isn’t because according to a listing spotted on the Xbox store and a leaked trailer (see video above), it looks like gamers will be able to look forward to a LEGO video game of The Force Awakens. We suppose this is good news too especially when you consider that there won’t be any The Force Awakens DLC for Star Wars Battlefront.

According to the description of the game, “In LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, players relive the epic action from the blockbuster film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, retold through the clever and witty LEGO lens. The game will also feature exclusive playable content that bridges the story gap between Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

If this sounds like an exciting title to look forward to, you might have to wait a bit because the listing has suggested that it will only be released on the 28th of June, 2016. It will be developed by TT Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive.
