the-division-open-beta

The closed beta of The Division recently went live, anyone who has pre-ordered the game or received an access code from Ubisoft could join the closed beta, and many did. It looks like Ubisoft also has an open beta lined up for The Division which will enable anyone and everyone to take the game for a spin prior to its release next month. The start date for The Division open beta appears to have been leaked by Xbox Italy.

A post on Xbox Italy’s official Facebook page features an image that shows The Division open beta starting from February 16th and running through to February 21st. Like we saw with the closed beta it appears that the Xbox One gets exclusivity over the open beta for 24 hours before it opens to PC and PlayStation 4.

Ubisoft is yet to confirm when it’s going to push The Division open beta and just how it’s going to be different from the closed beta that ended yesterday. So far there’s no update on the matter from Ubisoft. The only recent confirmation that came from it was about the post-launch DLC plans for The Division.

The Division is slated to release on March 8th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
