There’s good news for you today if you happen to own an Xbox One. Ubisoft previously confirmed that The Division will have an open beta later this month and about a week ago it confirmed start times for The Division open beta. There’s a one-day exclusivity window for Microsoft’s console which means that The Division open beta is now live for Xbox One.

It’s not the same as the closed beta in which you either had to pre-order the game to get access or had to have received an access code from Ubisoft via social media. Anyone can get in on this beta for as long as it’s live. Just head over to the store and download it. It’s that simple.

It goes without saying that the beta is not the full version of this game and doesn’t represent the final quality of The Division. It’s an important process for the developers to ensure that the game is balanced and that servers are humming along nicely before they have to bear the full load once the game is officially released.

Those who have an Xbox One can download The Division open beta now and start playing. PlayStation 4 and PC get the beta tomorrow, it’s live across all three platforms until February 22nd. You have the entire weekend to put the game through its paces, go crazy with it.
