sony playstation vr

The PlayStation VR appears to be off to a good start as Amazon has already sold out of all pre-order inventory. It didn’t take long for the entire pre-order stock to sell out on Amazon U.S. and you might be feeling left out if you didn’t get the chance to get your order in. Worry not, though, as Amazon has confirmed that it’s going to offer more pre-order stock of the PlayStation VR launch bundle later today.

Amazon confirmed via Twitter that it’s getting more PlayStation VR bundles in which it will then be able to sell to customers. The fresh stock will be available for purchase on Amazon starting at 2 pm PT today.

It’s not the only retailer that’s offering the virtual reality headset for pre-order. Best Buy and Gamestop are selling them as well so you check there as well if you’re unable to pick one up at Amazon.

The $499 PlayStation VR launch bundle contains the headset, PlayStation Camera and Move controllers. It may not be that appealing to people who already own a Camera or Move controllers and Sony has created another pre-order option for them.

Sony confirmed yesterday that it’s going to start taking pre-orders for the PlayStation VR headset only. The headset can be pre-ordered at its $399 price starting March 29th at 7 am PT.
