lumia-950If you happen to be rocking to a Lumia 950 that is subscribed to one of the plans from AT&T, then you should be well pleased to hear that the handset is now on the receiving end of a new firmware update. This is rather significant in a sense that it has been a week since the new operating system update was introduced to the Lumia 950, where it has been bumped up to hit Windows 10 Mobile Build 10586.164.

As for the new firmware update, it is said that the entire file would weigh in at 210MB, which would see the firmware version arrive at 1078.00038.16025.39033 – although to simplify matters, it has been labelled as “MICROSOFTMDG Update for Windows Phone.”

There is no changelog to accompany this particular firmware update, but what good would an update be if it did not arrive with its fair share of bug fixes as well as performance improvements, right? Hence, we should also keep this in mind and figure out that the same would apply with this. For those who have yet to pick up this update, you can perform a manual check by heading to Settings > Update & security > Phone update and Check for updates, and hopefully, it will be there.
