blockhead-plug-1Chargers for the MacBook aren’t exactly compact, and sometimes they can also jut out from the wall which means that sometimes trying to plug in an adapter can be tricky and there might be some moving for furniture, which is fine if you’re home, but if you’re outside at a cafe then it might be a problem.

Enter the Blockhead. This is a charger designed for iPads or the MacBook that will allow it to sit flush against the wall, meaning that trying to plug in the charger in a particularly tight space could soon prove to be rather easy. This is largely thanks to the design of the Blockhead that points the adapter plug downwards instead of straight.

According to the folks at Ten One Design who has described the adapter, “Blockhead directs your cord downward at a more natural angle. It looks great and protects against cord stress. By turning your adapter sideways, Blockhead brings its center of mass closer to the wall. This means less tension on the plug and a lot less falling out.”

The best part is that Blockhead is not particularly expensive. It is priced at $19.95 for a single plug, or $34.94 if you wish to get a Blockhead Stack. Customers who are interested can pre-order the accessory on their website where it is expected to begin shipping out to customers in April.
