forza6Microsoft’s Forza Motorsport series has been an exclusive to the Xbox platform for a very long time. Unsurprisingly the game has also been used to show off what the Xbox can do in terms of its performance. Now if you’ve always wished that Forza would arrive for the PC, you’re in luck because it looks like it could.

According to a recently deleted report by the Seattle Times (via Eurogamer), it seems that Microsoft held an event last week in which the company revealed that Forza would finally be making its way onto the PC. To be more specific, the title of the game is Forza Motorsport 6: Apex.

If the report is accurate, Apex is essentially a slimmed down version of Forza for the Xbox, and will actually be a free-to-play title that will be released to Windows 10 gamers this coming spring. We’re not sure if there is a catch and if there will be in-game purchases, but basically the idea of Apex is to show off how Windows 10 is good for gaming, kind of like how Microsoft also uses Forza to show off its Xbox consoles.

Now like we said, the article has been deleted because apparently it was meant to go live this afternoon, but someone accidentally posted it earlier. However it should be taken with a grain of salt for now, but if the embargo is true, then we should be able to expect confirmation later on today.
