It looks like iOS 9.3, having been released a week or so ago, has not been all that plain sailing after all. Those who are rocking to an iPhone 6s or an iPhone 6s Plus with iOS 9.3 installed would find that selected apps simply do not run well at all, or even worse, crashes.

It seems that with iOS 9.3 installed on the aforementioned devices, there will be links in Safari, Mail, Notes and Messages that will not work. Rather than being transported to the intended site, the app will close itself, freeze, or simply hang the entire device. What you see above is a YouTube video that documents the links freezing and crashing, and hopefully Apple will be able to issue a fix sooner rather than later.

While a couple of bright points of iOS 9.3 so far has been the inclusion of Dolby Digital Plus support for iOS devices as well as enabling AT&T’s international calls, it looks as though the negatives do happen to outweigh the positives at this moment. After all, older iPads have reportedly started to brick as well when installing iOS 9.3. If you haven’t made the jump just yet, perhaps it would be prudent to hold things off a little longer more until Apple fixes this mess.
