iphone-meme-legsDo you think that the world has an unhealthy obsession with physical looks, wanting you to look a certain way, wear in a select kind of fashion, and even to speak in a definitive manner? Well, peer pressure has a role to play in our everyday lives, and it looks like the most recent body trend meme over in the world’s most populous country, China, would see the rather unique combination of an iPhone 6 from Apple and a pair of skinny legs. The skinnier, the better.

This is certainly one of the more bizarre challenges that the fairer sex would want to go through in order to prove to the others that their body is nicer than the rest, regardless of campaigns being carried out on what a healthy looking body is like for females. Since a fortnight back, Chinese women had started to flood their social media accounts with images of their skinny bodies which can be hidden behind a sheet of A4 paper, and now, it would be the “iPhone 6 knees” challenge.

Basically, one would use an iPhone 6 to cover their knees, just as a badge of honor to prove that their legs are, indeed very skinny – and hence, defined as beautiful. Needless to say, there has been a fair number of detractors to this meme already, and it remains to be seen whether the larger iPhone 6 Plus would “qualify” for this meme.
