Having said that, Ringly has come up with its latest smart bracelet that carries the moniker Aries, and it does not look all that half bad, actually.

In fact, the Aries smart bracelet does look as though it will target the female populace, especially since it has the feel of a piece of a jewelry more than a tech device. The Aries collection comprises of four rather slim, gold-plated bangles, arriving in a quartet of semi-precious stone options.

These bracelets will fall back on a Bluetooth connection from your handset in order to send notifications to the device. Via the Ringly app, one will be able to control just the right amount of alerts that you would like to receive, as well as how you would want them to show, in addition to filtering the messages so that only select ones from various folks will be received. Not only that, you will also be able to opt to receive notifications for more than 100 connected apps. In addition, the new smart bracelet has the ability to track steps, the amount of distance you have traveled, and an estimated number of calories burnt. Expect them to retail for $195 a pop when they ship later this July, with pre-orders kicking off on Tuesday.
