samsung s serviceThe thing about tech support services for some companies is that their hotlines aren’t 24/7. This means that if something wrong happens at 2am in the morning, you will have to wait until it is the working hours before you can call. Now the good news for Samsung users is that it looks like they have a new service you might want to check out.

Dubbed S Service, this is Samsung’s take on tech support for their products. Unfortunately it will not be a 24/7 service, but it will open until 12am so at least if something goes wrong outside of regular working hours, you still have until midnight to get in touch with Samsung to see what’s going on. It will be an internet-based service, so don’t expect to be able to call in for help.

According to Samsung, “It’s a convenient way for people to get expert help, right from the comfort of their computer. Because it is a chat-based service that operates over your computer, you don’t have to worry about background noise, so you can use it at home, in a café, or anywhere with web access.”

Of course, if the problem is with your computer then we reckon this is where it gets tricky, but if not you should be fine. Samsung’s S Service will operate between GMT +9 Monday to Friday, 9am to 11:59pm. Samsung claims that they have chosen these hours as it has been found that people with device issues tend to seek help between 7pm to 2am.
