skype logoIf you are rocking to Skype for Windows for your communication needs, near and far away, then you should be pleased to know that the latest update would bump up the app’s version number to 7.21.0.100 from 7.18.85.112, although it remains to be seen whether this particular update will be accompanied by any kind of new feature, since Microsoft has not yet published the changelog for the latest update so that the masses will be able to get better versed with it.

If you are a regular user of Skype for Windows, the update can be downloaded by checking out the Help section in the Titlebar, before you move on to Check for Updates so that the latest build can be downloaded. Of course, there are also other more direct methods, such as a direct link on which you can click here.

It is always best to make a quick backup of your existing Skype contacts somewhere before performing software update, just in case Murphy decides to strike with that irritating Law. One cannot help but wonder whether this update has anything to do with the recently announced Project Rigel or OneDrive integration.
