Xperia Z5 Black_groupIf you happen to live in the Land of the Rising Sun, then you would be pleased to know that Sony has started to introduce the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for not only one device, but the whole range of Xperia Z5 devices over there. In other words, the Sony Xperia Z5, Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, and Sony Xperia Z5 Premium would be picking up this latest Android update.

You will be able to read more about what Android 6.0 Marshmallow delivers to the table over here, but if you would like to have a quick refresher, then do take note of the more essential details such as an improved battery manager, a souped up app permissions manager, notification area customizations, as well as a spanking new Xperia Home launcher in addition to an updated Camera app.

Sony UK has also announced that it will conduct an Android 6.0 Marshmallow rollout for the Xperia Z5 collection of devices, in addition to the Xperia Z4 Tablet as well as Xperia Z3+ handsets when the 7th of March rolls around. Perhaps that might be the global release date for the update, since we have also caught whiff that even Turkey has started to be seeded with Marshmallow updates. At least we know that the Snapdragon 810 overheating woes are no longer an issue. [Official Page]
