If there is one thing about free-to-play games that require in-game purchases, it goes without saying that whoever has the deeper wallet will no doubt have a natural tendency of ending up as the top dog. Well, skill also comes into play as well when all other playing fields are level, but basically, how many folks are willing to invest a whopping $12,000 to end up at the top of the food chain? This is exactly that a player did with Clash Royale.

Clash Royale happens to be the latest mobile game from the developer of Clash of Clans, and Clash Royale player Chief Pat has shared that he had already forked out $30,000 or so when it comes to developer Supercell’s games. Another $18,000 was spent on Clash of Clans, which is a title that Chief Pat had been playing for many years now, and $12,000 on Clash Royale, never mind the fact that it was released just earlier this year.

Chief Pat shared, “I’ve never regretted it, because YouTube is my job. It’s a business expense, and I gotta show off all the coolest shit for my subscribers, ya digg?” So far, Chief Pat has a very popular YouTube channel that boasts of more than 1.7 million subscribers, and most of the videos in that channel have something to do with either Clash of Clans or Clash Royale.
