TuneIn has announced a multiyear partnership with the National Basketball Association which will enable it to live stream audio of play-by-play of NBA preseason, regular season and postseason games in the United States starting with the 2016-2017 season on TuneIn Premium. With this partnership, TuneIn Premium users will be able to access all 1,230 NBA 2016-2017 regular games, all of the NBA Playoffs and The Finals, aside from marquee events like NBA All-Star Game, NBA Draft and the State Farm All-Star Saturday Night games.

Fans outside the United States, China and Canada can access live play-by-play of all remaining NBA games of the 2015-2016 season. Later this year in May, the Women’s NBA regular season and playoff games will be available as well. Fans will also be able to listen to action from the NBA Development League as well.

TuneIn will take this partnership with the NBA further by collaborating on original content aside from game broadcasts, fantasy and analysis shows and daily talk during the regular season. On-Demand content will enable users to listen to replays of the most recent 10 games for each team on a rolling basis, and TuneIn also plans on launching a 24/7 live channel that features a mix of NBA TV content and original programming.

“We’re excited to announce this new partnership with the NBA,” said Kevin Straley, Chief Content Officer for TuneIn. “The combination of our platform with a global reach in 230 countries and territories, and the NBA’s international fan base makes this a perfect fit to extend TuneIn’s growing sports content portfolio.”
