vivo-x6s-plusVivo of China does churn out some pretty solid looking handsets, and once did get into the race of delivering the slimmest smartphone in the world. Well, surely they are moving in the right direction over time, and the Chinese manufacturer has just introduced two new devices to their family of handsets in the form of the vivo X6S and vivo X6S Plus, where they will no doubt be direct successors to the vivo X6 and vivo X6 Plus, with the latter two being introduced just at the end of last year.

A quarter has more or less passed since then, and while the devices do happen to share a startling resemblance on the outside, it is what is underneath that would be a wee bit different. Apparently, both of these new vivo X6S and X6S Plus will feature superior audio hardware as opposed to their predecessors. The smaller X6S will sport an AKM4375 32-bit DAC, with the larger sized X6S Plus coming with a ES9028 DAC within a YAMAHA YSS-205X audio processor.

Apart from that, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 will be thrown into the mix that is equipped with a quartet of powerful Cortex A72 cores and another four A53 ones in addition to the Adreno 520 GPU. WIth screen sizes of 5.2″ and 5.7″ respectively, they will be of the Full HD Super AMOLED variety, and another shared hardware specification would be 4GB of RAM and 32GB to 64GB of internal memory. 7
