whatsapp-logo-newIt goes without saying that any app worth its salt deserves to be updated from time to time, especially when you take into consideration how things move at a lightning fast pace in this day and age. WhatsApp is not a company to remain static, but has continued to improve – including enabling document sharing on its app, although the company has given up on the BlackBerry platform. This time around, we bring you word on the latest update for WhatsApp for iOS.

In this newest update, users will no longer be subject to a bug that has been extremely annoying before – one that consumes the iPhone’s unused storage space. With this update, expect the version number to get bumped up to 2.12.15, and as the changelist did mention this bug (among other fixes, of course), your iPhone should no longer be subject to such space-consuming issues.

Of course, this update will also let you share photos and videos that hail from the different apps which have already been installed on your device, including the likes of Google Drive, Dropbox or Microsoft OneDrive. All that you need to do is open “Photo/Video Library” and tap “Choose from another app…”. Head on here to install the latest version of WhatsApp on your iPhone.
