samsunglogoSamsung is certainly no slouch when it comes to its collection of smartphones, where most of the action belongs to the Galaxy S series, as that is where the flagship Snapdragon 820-powered Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge reside in the food chain, but this does not mean that the South Korean conglomerate has forgotten about the rest of the market. No sir, Samsung has continued to work on other smartphone ranges with different alphabets, and it looks like their latest upcoming device would be part of the C Series.

The evidence behind this assertion? An import listing on Indian customs database Zauba, which has rarely been proven to be wrong. The smartphone in particular would bring with it a model number SM-C5000, where it will boast of a 5.2” display, but other than that, there is nothing else that we know of it. Other sources do claim that there is a C7000 model that is in the pipeline, although the screen size of that particular device has yet to be determined.

Perhaps the C Series will target the Chinese market as its primary base, although this does not mean that it cannot be sold elsewhere. I suppose we will simply need to play the patience card until Samsung decides to reveal more on the matter.
