nova-launcherSoftware will need to be updated from time to time in order to keep up with the rest of the competition, otherwise one would risk falling behind and being considered as outdated. It seems that the Android N Preview v2.0 has a brand new app folder design, and the Nova Launcher is rather quick on the job in order to match it.

There is a beta version of Nova Launcher available, being one of the more notable names when it comes to launchers on devices that run on the Android mobile operating system. This beta version has been updated so that it will boast of an app folder redesign that is based on a small visual change which Google recently introduced in its second Android N developer preview.

The second Android N Developer Preview did come with interesting features such as a low-level 3D rendering engine known as Vulkan as well as launcher shortcuts. Android N Preview v2.0 also delivered app folders which do look very interesting in terms of its design, showing off the corners or the edges of the app icons. Nova Launcher’s latest beta will let you enjoy the same look on your Android device without missing a beat, and while it is a minor change that does not involve anything out of the ordinary, it is small touches like these that keep customers and users happy.
