apple logoThere have been several Apple Car rumors lately, with one of them suggesting that Apple might have bought up several buildings in which further research and development on the car will be conducted at. There was also a recent report that revealed that Apple might just have poached another Tesla executive.

Now according to a recent report by 9to5Mac, it seems that they have noticed that Apple has picked up more employees from the automotive industry, and could even be getting ready to build hardware prototypes for the Apple Car. We’re not sure what kind of prototypes we might be looking at, but it sounds like Apple’s Project Titan is chugging along nicely.

One of those hires is David Masiukiewicz who used to work as a CNC programmer for R&D hardware prototyping at Tesla. Another hire is Kevin Harvey who used to be a CNC machine shop supervisor at Andretti Autosport, the company known for playing a role in racing leagues such as IndyCar and Global Rallycross.

So far Apple has kept somewhat mum on their plans to build their own car, but with so many hires coming from the automotive industry, it’s hard to refute the rumors. In any case whether or not this car project will result in an actual car remains to be seen, not to mention it’ll still be several years away from being a reality, so until then maybe it’s best taken with a grain of salt.
