Do you think that there are newer and better ways of implementing a drone system? Apparently so, as having a sports car equipped with a drone is not enough, as we now have a prototype phone case that, surprise, surprise, will come with a very small drone. Now how about that for evolution?
If this particular prototype phone case is going to be realized, then it would surely make all of the other phone cases in the market inferior as this model offers not only protection for your precious handset in the event of a knock or a drop, but it also lets you snap some rather interesting photos from a slew of angles as well. Known as Drone-in-a-Phone, it will merge the convenience of a phone case with the capability of a drone.
This concept hails from Buzz Technology, and there are plans at the moment to bring it to Kickstarter later this year as a crowdfunded project. The small drone will need to be removed from the case first, where it is then unfolded and ready for tethered flight. The camera it uses is the same camera that the handset uses, making it a truly stunning idea of a modular smartphone concept. There will be a trio of camera modules to choose from – to snap standard photos, in fisheye wide-angle, and macro shots.
