htc_logoHTC has certainly fallen behind their rivals when it comes to rolling out the next generation of flagship smartphones, and they have been more or less playing catch up for quite some time already. Hopefully, fans of HTC will not be disappointed when the upcoming HTC 10 flagship smartphone hits the market – being prepared for an unveiling online this coming 12th of April. In fact, with the HTC 10 having gained the seal of approval from the FCC, it looks like things are going well for the Taiwanese firm.

According to the FCC, there is more than meets the eye where the HTC 10 is concerned, as there will be not one, but actually two HTC models, known as the 2PS6200 and 2PS6500. So far, no photos have been depicted in the FCC documents revealed, since HTC did ask the FCC to withhold public information disclosure. It also remains to be seen as to what are the differences, if any, between those two devices, although speculation points to the logical conclusion of variants in network bands support.

As we await for April 12, speculated hardware specifications of the HTC 10 include a 5.1″ QHD screen, a Snapdragon 820 chipset with 4GB of RAM and a USB Type-C port.
