galaxy-note-4-review-15Not too long ago, we did bring you word on how the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update had gone global for the Samsung Galaxy S5. Well, this time around, we will focus our attention on the Samsung Galaxy Note series – not the upcoming Note6 as rumored, but rather, an older version – the Samsung Galaxy Note4, to be exact. It looks like the international model of the Galaxy Note4 will now be on the receiving end of the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system update.

For a handset that is a couple of years old already, it might start to feel as though it is slowing down on the edges, and perhaps this major firmware bump might be able to make it feel as though it is running afresh like new, with all of the features that come along with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, of course.

We are referring to the likes of Doze, Google Now on Tap as well as a refresh where Samsung’s TouchWiz overlay is concerned, amidst the other different kinds of optimizations. Not only that, those who love to communicate via instant messaging should also fall in love with the amount of new emoji that has been thrown into the mix. Just sit tight and wait if you have yet to pick up this update while holding an international model.
