While watching videos can be done on the computer, there is an increasing number of people who also watch videos on their phones. This has led to carriers such as T-Mobile creating services like Binge On where customers can watch videos on their smartphones without it eating into their data plans.

There have also been videos that have been created for smartphones, like 3D videos for example, and the latest attempt at appealing to mobile users, J-Pop group Lyrical School has released their latest music video called “Run and Run”. Now we’re not typically in the business of covering music videos, but their concept is actually pretty cool.

The video has been shot in portrait mode and if you were to view it on an iPhone, it would look as though the video has taken control of your smartphone. It shows apps launching, notifications, Twitter, FaceTime, and etc., all of which are part of the video which at the same time makes it look as though someone is using your phone.

Unfortunately it probably makes less sense for Android users to watch it, but it is still a pretty clever concept all the same. If you are interested in checking it out, you can do so in the video above although we’d recommend you watch it with an iPhone for better effect.
