So, the LG G5 has been released yesterday, and hence, you know that there will be someone out there who would not mind forking out a whole lot of money just to make sure that their handset is capable of going through a whole lot of torture. The LG G5 that you see above would have gone through hell – being scratched, burnt with a lighter, followed by giving it a nice bend.

Despite the LG G5 arriving in a modular format, where you can pull out the bottom section to reveal the battery which can in turn, be removed as well, while providing you with the option to add on other bits and pieces such as a camera module, this does not mean that the LG G5 is easy to bend, since it comes across as a sturdy piece of metal, save for the segment known as the Magic Slot.

The scratch test also showcases the LG G5’s rather thin layer of plastic that covers the display. Seeing the slight amount of pressure placed on the display will already result in discolorations certainly does not inspire any confidence at all should the handset be dropped onto the floor. All in all, it is rather entertaining, and the best part is, you don’t have to put your LG G5 through the paces since someone else has already done it for you.
