lg-g5-se-coverThe LG G5 SE trademark was apparently brought to our attention just last week, where it was trademarked by LG over in its home country in South Korea. This would naturally bring up thoughts of the consumer electronics giant doing their bit to ensure that the LG G5 SE moniker will see action in a future smartphone, and with speculation that it might be a smaller model than the current flagship LG G5, it looks like that has been debunked with the spotting of an LG Quick Cover case that is compatible not only with the LG G5, but the LG G5 SE as well.

Yes sir, the packaging that is found on the official Quick Cover case from LG for the LG G5 too, mentions the LG G5 SE as being a compatible device for said case. This would mean that the physical dimensions of the LG G5 SE, assuming the printed sticker on the Quick Cover case is not a typo, would be the same as that of the LG G5, and if that is the case, it begs the question of what would the LG G5 SE come with (or lack) to make it carry a different model number from that of the vanilla LG G5? Could it be the materials used in its construction, or perhaps that it might have inferior innards?
