If getting super powers through mutation and scientific experiments is getting a little stale for your liking, then chances are you might be looking forward to Marvel’s upcoming Doctor Strange movie which will introduce a more mystical element to the Marvel cinematic universe. The movie was announced awhile back and now it looks like we have the official teaser trailer for it.
For those hearing about this for the first time, Doctor Strange is a superhero character from Marvel that has actual magical powers. The movie has been in talks for many years before more recent times when a director and actor had been chosen to take on the title role, which just in case you did not know will be none other than Benedict Cumberbatch.
The movie will also star Chiwetel Ejiofor (whom some might recognize from 12 Years A Slave and The Martian), Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg, Mads Mikkelsen of Hannibal fame, and Tilda Swinton who will be taking on the role of the Ancient One, who is Doctor Strange’s mentor that some of you guys might recognize from the comics.
The film has been pegged for a release later this year on the 4th of November. So far the teaser trailer looks pretty good and seems to have some kind of inception vibe going on, so if you have a couple of minutes to spare, do check it out.
