It appears that Microsoft has teamed up with a couple of other firms for a game streaming service for Xbox One owners in China. Evidence has surfaced which shows that Microsoft is teaming up with Square Enix and Ubitus to bring Final Fantasy XIII to the Xbox One for owners in China. It’s going to bring them the title by conducting a beta test for a game streaming service.

The details of this beta test have been posted on the official Xbox Chinese website, it says that some gamers in China will be able to play Final Fantasy XIII on their Xbox One through a cloud streaming service.

The service is said to be in beta right now with Final Fantasy XIII being the only game playable, it goes without saying that if the test goes through nicely and Microsoft sees potential, it’s going to expand the list of titles available in the streaming service and launch it publicly.

It appears that players first have to download a 160MB file before the rest of the game can be streamed to the console. Another report claims that only 400 Xbox One owners have been selected to take part in this beta test and it’s unclear at this point in time when Microsoft plans on opening up this service to the public.
