motox-pure-editionAccording to recently leaked specs, it has been suggested that we could be looking at a new Moto E in the future. However according to a recent sighting on Indian import/export website Zauba, it turns out that Motorola could have a new handset in store called the Moto X3. However we have to admit that its name is a bit confusing.

As it stands, Motorola has several handset lineups, like the Moto E and Moto G, both of which are aimed at customers on a budget, and they have their Moto X lineup which is usually their flagship phone. The Moto X3 name would seem to suggest that this handset could be part of the Moto X family, but like we said, it is a bit confusing as it would seem to suggest that this could be a third-gen Moto X handset.

In any case if the listing is any accurate, certain specs of the handset has been revealed. For starters it will sport a 5-inch display, and that it is a single SIM device, although we suppose Motorola/Lenovo could just as easily create a dual SIM device for other markets that might have the need for such specifications.

Unfortunately for now it’s really anyone’s guess as to when Motorola might announce the device(s), so we guess we’ll just have to be patient, but remember to check back with us in the coming weeks/months for more updates.
