2K Games confirmed in July last year that a new Mafia game is being developed. A couple of months later the developer released the first Mafia 3 trailer and also reiterated that the game will be released in 2016. The release date hasn’t been confirmed as yet but fans of the franchise will soon be treated to a new trailer as 2K Games has confirmed that a new Mafia 3 trailer will be posted online tomorrow.

Mafia 3 is the sequel to Mafia 2 which came out six years ago in 2010. The new game is set in 1968 and features a protagonist who is out to avenge the death of his family for which the Italian mob is responsible.

A couple of months ago several retailers listed what could have been the possible release date for Mafia 3. Amazon, Best Buy and GameStop all listed Mafia 3’s release date as April 26th.

2K Games hasn’t provided a confirmed release date yet but we can keep our fingers crossed for that information to surface in tomorrow’s trailer, so far there’s no evidence to support the theory that this game will be released on April 26th.

2K Games has confirmed via Twitter that a new Mafia 3 trailer titled One Way Road is going to be released on the official YouTube channel at 5am Pacific and 8am Eastern tomorrow. The trailer will feature the game’s story and provide some more details about it. 2K Games is still tight-lipped on the release date for this title.
