next cod revealIt seems that without fail we have been treated to an annual release for Call of Duty titles, which means that this year we should be able to expect a new one. In fact a recent report has revealed that the upcoming Call of Duty will be known as Infinite Warfare, so the next question is when will the game be officially announced?

Could it be at E3 which is June? We suppose that’s a possibility, but now according to a tweet by game critic Jim Sterling, it seems that we can actually look forward to Activision announcing the next Call of Duty come 3rd of May. As you can see in the photo above, Sterling managed to get his hands on what looks like marketing material for the upcoming game.

Unfortunately the material does not reveal the graphics of the game or its logo, so right now all we know is that it will be called Infinite Warfare and that it could be announced next week. Of course it is possible that the report might not be true so do take it with a grain of salt for now, and try not to get your hopes up just yet.

That being said, this year’s Call of Duty will be developed by Infinity Ward, who has previously developed other Call of Duty titles like Ghosts and Modern Warfare. Interestingly enough a report from earlier this year suggested that the next Call of Duty title could be known as Ghosts 2, but either way check back with us next week where hopefully we’ll have more details to share.
