BIG-4If you’re familiar with the history of rap, you might be familiar with names such as Tupac and Notorious B.I.G., both of whom were said to be feuding and who were both tragically shot and killed. However thanks to technology, Tupac has brought back to life as a hologram in which he made an appearance at Coachella in 2012.

Now it turns out that his rival, the Notorious B.I.G. could be getting the same treatment as well. According to an exclusive report by Billboard, ARHT Media has reportedly managed to land the digital rights to the rapper’s hologram, which means that don’t be surprised if you were to see the rapper’s hologram make its appearance in videos and concerts in the future.

In fact the first video he is expected to appear in will be Faith Evan’s first single from her upcoming The King & I duets compilation album. Now this hologram will be more than just an image of the Notorious B.I.G. According to ARHT CEO Paul Duffy, the hologram will be able to move and act just like how the rapper used to in real-life.

“We’ll use input from virtually anywhere so we’ll talk to people, we’ll obviously look through existing footage. We’ll meet with family members and just look to alternately capture the essence of Biggie. Then we’ll have their eyes on all the content and material that’s being built. Of course, nothing would be released until they felt comfortable and signed off on it.” Prior to this and apart from Tupac, we’ve seen holograms used to bring other celebrities back to “life”, such as Elvis and even Michael Jackson.
