When you think of the Street Fighter franchise, chances are there are certain iconic characters that comes to mind. You might think of Ken, Ryu, Chun-Li, and Guile (and his infamous “sonic boom” attack). Oddly enough Street Fighter V was launched without the inclusion of Guile, although it was just recently that Capcom confirmed that character’s availability in an upcoming DLC.

In addition to the confirmation, we were also treated to several screenshots of the character in the game, but in case you wanted to see Guile in action in Street Fighter V with its new graphics and in all of its glory, you’re in luck as Capcom has since released the trailer for the upcoming character that you can check out in the video above.

As expected Guile plays pretty much the same way as you have come to expect from other Street Fighter titles, and while we can’t confirm it, he does seem to be beefier compared to previous games. Guile will be a free character this month while Capcom is preparing its Zenny shop, so gamers will probably want to take advantage of this while they still can.

As for Guile’s Air Force base home stage, that will be available to players for 70,000 Fight Money. Unfortunately we still don’t have an official release date yet for the upcoming DLC, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for an announcement which should take place very soon.
