Yesterday we reported that the folks at Activision and Infinity Ward could be sharing news related to the next Call of Duty title today, and sure enough they have. For those wondering about the next Call of Duty game, wonder no more because the official debut trailer for Infinite Warfare has been released, which you can check out for yourself in the video above.

While previously it was hinted that this year’s Call of Duty could be known as Ghosts 2, we guess the rumors were false or maybe Infinity Ward had a change of heart and decided to go with Infinite Warfare. Details on the game are a bit sparse at the moment but from what we can tell, it looks like it will have a futuristic setting.

The game won’t be set in space, but like we said it looks like there will be futuristic elements involved. In addition to the game’s trailer being released, it has also been confirmed that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be set for a release on the 4th of November, 2016, which is pretty much in line with an earlier leak.

So far we have to say that we are intrigued at what the game will offer up to players. There was also mention of a remastered version of Modern Warfare at the end but no extra details were provided, but maybe we will get more details at E3. Either way if you have a few minutes to spare, you can check out the trailer for yourself in the video above.
