Batman v Superman, Team Cap v Team Iron Man, the overarching theme these days seem to be a good, old fashioned rivalry between two characters from the “good” side. Well, when it comes to the highly competitive world of smartphones, you know for sure that there is no love lost between Samsung and Apple, as they have been at each other for a long time now with their respective smartphones. The video above is an interesting one, as it depicts the iPhone 6s and the Samsung Galaxy S7 in a drop test.

Basically, it is a theme of glass against metal, as PhoneBuff pits these two flagship devices together with its professional drop testing machine. Each phone will be dropped from one meter up (that would be 3.3 feet) on its side, back, bottom and front. At the end of it all, when the dust clears, the handset which can make a phone call after the four rounds, will be declared the winner.

The back test saw the iPhone 6s emerge as the clear winner, since the Galaxy S7 did see its back glass crack. Second thoughts perhaps on both front and back glass use for the upcoming iPhone model in the future?
