These days the majority of new cars come with built-in reverse sensors. Some cars even come with a reverse camera so you can actually see where you’re reversing into. However not all of us have new cars, but the convenience of a reverse sensor is pretty good which is why many car owners have retrofitted their vehicles with the technology.

However if retrofitting your car with reverse sensors is a bit too expensive for you, you might be interested in the FenSens (short for Fender Sensors). This is basically a combination of an app and a pair of reverse sensors that is built into your car’s license plate. This means that attaching it to your car will probably take you a couple of minutes, and won’t require you sending it in to the mechanic.

FenSens is said to work on the majority of cars, but if you’re driving a truck or a particularly tall vehicle, then FenSens might not be as effective as it can be. The sensor has its own built-in battery which is rechargeable and is said to be good for 5 months of usage before users are required to charge it.

Once FenSens is hooked up, you’ll need the accompanying app to help guide yourself into parking spots. So how much will it cost? The FenSens will be priced at $99 if you were to purchase it now, and it will go up to $149 upon hitting the shelves, so what are you waiting for?
