ffxv collectorsIt seems that while there are some out there who are griping about how expensive games cost these days, there are also gamers who appear to have no trouble spending some serious money on collector editions because according to reports, it seems that the Final Fantasy XV Ultimate Collector’s Edition has managed to sell out in record time once again.

According to a post by Square Enix Europe, the Ultimate Collector’s Edition has sold out in the European stores where it is priced at £189.99 each. Just in case you’re hearing about this for the first time, the recent batch that was released is actually the second batch of production copies that Square Enix produced in order to meet the demand of fans.

The company had previously announced that they will be producing 10,000 additional units in order to allow fans who missed out on the first batch to get their hands on the game. So far only 40,000 units have been made and there are no plans on producing anymore, so if you’ve got yourself a copy, you should hold onto it because it could be worth something someday.

The Ultimate Collector’s Edition will come with a 192-page artbook, a 26cm figurine of Noctis, a Blu-ray containing the Kingsglaive movie, bonus items in-game, and more, although we reckon the figurine is probably a good enough reason to get your hands on it, but it looks like you’ll be hard pressed to find available copies.
