ffxv collectorsIn case you were slow on the trigger, Square Enix released the Final Fantasy XV Ultimate Collector’s Edition last month in which it was snapped up minutes. No doubt fans were disappointed, but the good news is that Square Enix promised that they would be making more copies and now we have a date in which they will be released.

According to a post on the Square Enix blog, the company has announced that an additional 10,000 units will be made and they will be going on sale come 23rd of May at 9am PDT. The good news is that the sale of these units will be private, as in those who are on the waiting list will get a private link to a website to make their purchase.

This link is only valid for 48 hours and once that expires, it goes to the next person who is on the waiting list. This rule applies to other regions around the world like in France, but for the rest of Europe, it will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. For gamers in Australia and New Zealand, Square Enix stated there will be more units available and details will be shared later.

Square Enix notes that there will only be 10,000 units produced and that this will be the last batch that they do produce. “We have only been able to produce 10,000 more UCEs due to the time it takes to create each individual Noctis Play Arts Kai figure because they are so detailed, and to confirm, this is the final batch of UCEs we will produce.” Also the company cannot guarantee that it will arrive in time for the game’s release, but if you don’t mind the wait, we guess it shouldn’t be an issue.
