hitman go

A VR version of Hitman GO has been in development for some time now and fans of the franchise who have been looking forward to this title will be interested to know that Hitman GO VR is coming out tomorrow. It’s the same Hitman GO game that they might have played already but with an added twist of a virtual reality experience. Do keep in mind that the game is limited to a couple of VR platforms only, even if they are the most popular platforms out there.

Hitman GO VR is exclusive to the Samsung Gear VR and Oculus Rift, those who are on another VR platform like HTC Vive are out of luck for now.

This turn-based puzzle-strategy game was released on iOS back in 2014 and it arrived on Android sometime later. There are 68 levels in the game that players have to unlock while completing various side objectives. Hitman GO Definitive Edition was released earlier this year with a new control scheme and all previous updates baked in.

Hitman GO VR is going to be released on the Gear VR and Oculus Rift tomorrow for $7.99 and $9.99 respectively. It’s going to be more or less the same experience across both platforms but Square Enix does mention that the Rift edition provides a 90 FPS game experience with seamless head tracking.

The VR version of this game features 91 different levels that are inspired by Hitman classics, including but not limited to Silent Assassin and Blood Money.
