htc-10-lifestyleA couple of days ago we reported that Verizon had begun taking pre-orders for the HTC 10. The good news is that if you had pre-ordered the handset, it seems that customers are now reporting that Verizon has recently sent out emails informing them that their orders have been shipped, which from what we can tell should arrive on the 5th of May.

Just in case you didn’t know, Verizon had listed the 5th of May as the date that orders were expected to have been shipped, so it looks like they will be making good on their promise. Also if you weren’t familiar, Verizon will be having a timed exclusive of the HTC 10. Other carriers such as Sprint will only be launching the handset on the 13th of May, giving Verizon a week headstart.

If you have not received any email from Verizon informing you that the handset has been shipped, there is a chance that you might not receive it tomorrow. Either that or the email notifications are part of a staged rollout meaning that you should be getting your notification soon. If you missed out on pre-ordering ahead of time, you can still go ahead and do so, just that there’s a possibility you might be getting the handset later than everyone else.
