Samsung-Galaxy-View-03Tablets come in a variety of shapes and sizes, although every now and then you see companies break away from more conventional sizes, such as Samsung when they launched the 18.4-inch Galaxy View tablet last year. Now a tablet of that size is naturally unwieldy, but apparently Lenovo thinks Samsung might be onto something.

According to recent benchmark sightings, it seems that Lenovo has a similar-sized tablet in the works. The benchmarks reveal that the tablet will also sport an 18.4-inch display with a 2560×1440 resolution, which gives it a higher resolution than that of the Galaxy View. It also appears to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm chipset and will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

The amount of RAM and screen resolution make this Lenovo device more powerful than the Galaxy View, although we can only imagine that it will make it cost more as well. It also appears to be running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow which is welcome news. Like we said, tablets of this size tend to be unwieldy but we guess some users might prefer using it more as a monitor.

No word on how much it will cost, but Lenovo did recently confirm that they will be hosting an event on the 9th of June, so maybe we will find out more then.
