halo-5-hog-wild-update

Halo 5 players have something to look forward to in the coming week. 343 Industries has confirmed that a new update is going to be released on Tuesday. It’s called “Hog Wild,” and while it doesn’t bring any new maps for the multiplayer components, it brings some additional vehicles to the game. Some of the bigger items that were supposed to arrive with this update need more time for finishing touches so they have been moved to the Warzone Firefight release.

Most of the contents of the Hog Wild release have been bundled into the Warzone Firefight release, it’s going to be the largest release to date for Halo 5, and it’s currently scheduled to arrive by the end of June.

Content included in the Hog Wild update that’s out on Tuesday, May 31st includes some new vehicles, shiny new armor, as well as a new Hybrid Scope which uses holographic target acquisition and can retrofit BR, SMG, AR, or DMR.

Hog Wild is a free title update meaning that it’s going to be released for all players on Tuesday. Specific details about the new content, particularly the new vehicles, are available on the official Halo blog. Expect more details on the Warzone Firefight release due next month soon.
