Opera is integrating privacy features to make sure that more people start using its web browser. We’ve already seen it bring native ad blocking to the desktop and mobile browsers, aside from offering a free and unlimited VPN with the developer version of its web browser. The company today announced the release of an unlimited and free VPN app for iOS.

Opera’s new VPN app for iOS is free for everybody with no restrictions on the amount of data that it can be used for. Like all of the previous VPN integrations that Opera has done, this one also uses the SurfEasy VPN service that Opera acquired in March last year.

There really is no shortage of VPN apps. You can pay for one to get full access to use one of the many free options as long as you’re okay with data limitations and ads. Opera’s new app is a bit different.

Not only is it free but it also doesn’t have any data restrictions so it can be used for unlimited amounts of data. Opera also says that it doesn’t have any plans to serve users of this app with ads for now, but that might change in the future.

Users will be able to select which region they want to route their connection through, choices include the United States, Singapore, Canada, Germany, and others. The app is also capable of blocking trackers and ads. It’s live now on the App Store.
