Fans of the Ghostbusters franchise have a lot to look forward to this year and now there’s something else that they can be interested in. In honor of the 34th anniversary of the original Ghostbusters film that came out back in 1984, Fathom Films has added another event for fans to catch the movie in theaters. The movie will be screened in theaters across the country this June to celebrate its 34th anniversary.

Fans will have two chances to catch the movie in theaters. Tickets will be available starting May 6th for both dates, Fathom Films has confirmed that the re-release brings the movie back to theaters for just two dates in the month of June.

The original 1984 movie will be playing in theaters across the United States on June 8th and June 12th. Tickets for both dates will be available for purchase starting May 6th.

It hits the big screen again merely a month before the Ghostbusters reboot which opens July 16th. The new movie features an all-female lead cast with big names like Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy among others leading the charge against ghosts in New York. Chris Hemsworth will be playing their secretary in the movie.

There’s even a new Ghostbusters game in the pipeline that’s also going to be launched for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this July.
