Blizzard’s interest in consoles was evident long before Diablo 3 came along, but safe to say that it was with the release of Diablo 3 that the company started to push out titles for consoles as well, such as the upcoming Overwatch FPS game by the company, which also marks the first time in a long time that Blizzard has created a brand new IP.

That being said, with the game available on both PC and console, we’re sure some of you guys are wondering which should you play the game on? The good news is that thanks to the folks at Polygon, they have managed to play the game on both PC and console and have thrown together a graphics comparison video that will help you decide.

From what we can tell, the differences aren’t too obvious. The lighting on the PC version of the game does appear to be a bit brighter and does better in the shadows, but otherwise we reckon you might not be able to tell the difference. Of course the obvious upside to playing on the PC is that if you have a awesome rig, you could crank the graphics way up that will result in a better-looking game.

However playing on consoles means that you won’t have to worry about meeting minimum requirements and whatnot. In any case Overwatch’s open beta will be taking place from the 5th to the 9th of May with a release set for the 24th of May. Those who pre-ordered the game can actually take part in the open beta’s early access right now.
