Samsung Pay is one of the most widely used mobile payment services in the United States. The company today announced that the service is getting even better thus enabling users to slim down their physical wallets even more. Samsung Pay has finally received support for loyalty and membership cards in the United States. Users will get easy, direct access to merchant membership and loyalty cards to get rewards, discounts and more when using Samsung Pay.

Samsung pointed out in its announcement that the average American household carries nearly 30 loyalty cards, and that this new feature will enable users with Samsung devices to access all of their membership and loyalty cards in one easy to use application.

This eliminates the need for carrying all of those cards in a wallet or bag, users just need to punch them into the app once and then forget about it. They don’t even have to worry about losing or forgetting their card anymore.

Users can easily upload and storage merchant membership and loyalty cards in Samsung Pay, it can also be used to store other cards like personal identification and insurance cards for safe keeping.

To use a membership or loyalty card stored in Samsung Pay users just have to launch the app, select the appropriate card and then hold their compatible Samsung Galaxy smartphone up to the merchant’s scanner so that the card’s barcode can be scanned at the register. It’s as simple as that.
