Our smartphones are amazing tools and can be used for all kinds of things. But what if you needed a microscope in a pinch, could your smartphone do it? We suppose macro will only get you so far, but now thanks to these stick-on lenses called BLIPS, they will turn your smartphone into a microscope for a small price.

BLIPS is being offered in two forms – one has been designed for macro photography, which lets users get even more up close and personal compared to current macro modes, and the other is micro that will let you get even closer to the finer details like you would a microscope. The lenses are pretty easy to use and basically stick onto the lens of your smartphone.

They can be easily attached and removed, meaning that you can put them on and take them off whenever, and because they are so small and slim, you can actually keep them on its accompany card case and slip it into your pocket or wallet, thus giving you a pair of micro and macro lenses that you can take with you on the go.

The most basic kit is priced at €20 and will include one macro, one micro, and two sponges. There are more expensive bundles which basically just come with more lenses, but if those two are enough then look no further. The BLIPS lenses are on Kickstarter and have since managed to blow past their original funding goals, but you can still pre-order if you were to head on over now.
