vuzeIf you had $800 to spare, just how would you spend it on a single ticket item for the holiday season? Well, thankfully you do not have to hold on to such temptation to spend money till the end of the year, as Vuze has clearly opened up the way for you to “invest” in their 3D, 360-degree VR video capture capable device that will go for $799 a pop.

VR camera systems have no doubt been making their appearance more and more often, although these tend to reside on the high end of the cost scale, and tend to cater more towards professionals than anyone else. HumanEyes Technologies is the company behind the Vuze, where they intend the masses to adopt a culture of creating 3D, 360-degree content. Available for pre-order, the Vuze is best described to be a point-and-shoot camcorder that “renders 3D and 2D VR content in real-time and with a super easy interface.”

It is tiny enough to be carried around in most pockets, as it comes with eight Full HD cameras, where these will simultaneously capture images, videos, and sound. In other words, you end up with 4K-resolution 360-degree video, and these can be viewed on any VR platform, headset, 3D device, or TV.
