Microsoft confirmed in March this year that Cortana will soon get the ability to track Android notifications. Users will be able to view their Android phone notifications directly in Windows 10, a feature that will make life easier for many users, the switch wasn’t flipped on this feature until today, though. Those who are running Windows 10 Insider builds on their machines will now be able to get Windows 10 Android notifications.

Windows 10 testers can enable this feature starting today. Microsoft has also sent out a new update to Cortana for Android which will enable users to have individual apps sync notifications to their Windows 10 PC.

It’s a great feature. Imagine you’re at your desk working and don’t want to be bothered by constant notifications, but you want your text messages to come through. You can set that up in the app and it will automatically push those notifications to your computer, you never have to take your eyes off of the screen.

Notifications for messages, missed calls and other items will be pushed from Android phones to Windows 10. That’s not the best part, users will also be able to reply to Android notifications directly from their PC.

If you aren’t running a Windows 10 Insider build you might be wondering when this feature is going to arrive for you. It will be bundled with the Windows 10 Anniversary Update that’s due this July.
